Our founder, Joseph Navarro, has always been captivated by storytelling.
Growing up, he loved listening to his parents, aunts, and uncles share stories of their struggles, triumphs, and the defining moments that shaped their lives. They came from humble beginnings, but through perseverance and hard work, they built new opportunities for future generations.
As Joseph grew older and became a father, he realized the importance of preserving family stories—so his children and grandchildren wouldn’t have to rely on fading memories.
The idea for Witness Mi was born during a family vacation to Guadalajara, Mexico, when Joseph’s father suffered a severe cerebral stroke.
He survived, but lost the ability to walk and speak clearly—skills that had once carried the stories Joseph cherished.
In that painful moment, Joseph realized how close he had come to losing not just his father, but also his voice, his spirit, and the stories that defined him. He thought of his young sons, just 3 and 1 years old, and how they might never truly know the man who had worked over 20 years at a battery company, taught himself technology, and showed through quiet strength what it meant to be a great father.
Joseph envisioned Witness Mi—a platform designed to make recording, preserving, and sharing life stories simple and beautiful.
By combining AI-generated visuals, voice replication, and automated storytelling, Witness Mi helps families capture their memories in cinematic, emotionally rich video memoirs.
Thankfully, after months of therapy, Joseph’s father regained about 90% of his speech—and was able to record his own Witness Mi stories, preserving his legacy for generations to come.

Joseph Navarro has always been passionate about storytelling. His journey into this world began in 2017, when he launched the Burn It Nutrition Podcast, a top 1% podcast that has been running for over eight years. Through this platform, he explored topics on health, nutrition, biohacking, and self-help, using historical references, personal stories, and professional production editing to create a movie-like experience for his listeners.
His ability to craft compelling narratives allowed him to shine a spotlight on key issues, while also interviewing some of the most brilliant minds in health and wellness. His podcast has helped thousands of people worldwide, proving the power of storytelling to educate, inspire, and change lives.
In 2022, Joseph took his storytelling skills into the world of clinical research, as Senior Marketing Manager for the largest clinical trial network in California. He worked to spread awareness about groundbreaking medical research and improve public understanding of new treatments.
A leader in innovation, integrating AI technology to improve the patient experience. His contributions to the field of patient advocacy and innovation were recognized in 2024, when his work was awarded the Excellence in Patient Centricity Award by SCRS.
By 2025, after the stroke of his father, the vision for Witness Mi had fully taken shape. While still running his podcast, managing a demanding senior marketing role, and a growing family—Joseph took a leap of faith and launched Witness Mi.
What started as a deeply personal mission has now become a platform that empowers families across the world to preserve their legacies, share their wisdom, and ensure that their stories are never forgotten.
